General Plan & Summer Gap Coverage

WSU students enrolled in 7 or more credits are eligible for this plan. Coverage is available for spouses/partners and dependents. Log into the Health Web to request enrollment for Fall 2013. International students with non-immigrant status (except Canadians) are automatically enrolled in this plan when registered for any amount of credits at WSU.

Your insurance administrator is  Maksin/Chartis. Visit Maksin/Chartis to:

  • Create an online account
  • Print an ID card
  • Look up Preferred Providers
  • Submit Claims
  • Monitor Claim Status
  • View Plan Brochure

Need an insurance card?
You will receive an insurance ID card at your local address on
file with the University no later than the week of October 15th. Obtain a temporary insurance card online by creating an account on the Maksin/Chartis website.
